Alice M. Price

Treasurer

Alice M. Price is based in the Alamosa area, with much of her professional career centered within Colorado’s 12th judicial district. As part of her evolving law career, she became engaged in the alternative dispute resolution field in the 1980’s, along with specialized work in Restorative Justice beginning in the early 1990’s. In 1994, she was a founder of and served for an extended period as the Executive Director of what became known as the Center for Restorative Programs. Serving the San Luis Valley, CRP remains one of Colorado’s first community-based Restorative Justice programs and one of only a few rural-focused services in the state. Alice also served as a trainer for several other early RJ initiatives around the state, and was part of the original Colorado Coalition of Restorative Justice Directors. Largely retired from day-to-day RJ practice, Alice remains active at the state level in policy and practice issues related to forwarding RJ in Colorado, through her service as an at-large practitioner member on the RJ Council and as a member of the Colorado Coalition of Restorative Justice Practices.
