Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Restorative Justice Program
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Restorative Justice Program is committed to applying the best practices of the Colorado RJ Practitioner Guidelines
About
We are a volunteer driven program in the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office that offers restorative justice in the wake of crime. We accept referrals for juveniles and adults who were contacted for petty, misdemeanor and felony offenses and are being given the opportunity to right harms caused by their choices instead of receiving a summons or being arrested/facing criminal charges. Our aim is to provide a restorative process by which victims are heard, understood and have a voice in how the harms will be repaired; offenders accept responsibility for and right harms caused; and where loved ones and community members offer support and input for harm repair.
