Event Description

Restorative Teaching Tools Summer Training

Join us for an immersive 3-day Restorative Teaching Tools Training designed for restorative justice practitioners, trainers, and educators.

August 3-7, 2026 at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado

You will gain a toolkit of games and activities for teaching restorative justice and learn the art of designing your own experiential activities to meet your community’s learning needs.

This training is held in a beautiful remote mountain setting that offers an opportunity for reflection and rejuvenation while building new connections, learning new skills, and having fun! Along with the authors of The Little Book of Restorative Teaching Tools, Kathleen McGoey and Lindsey Pointer, our facilitation team brings together the brilliant Gilbert Salazar (Colorizing Restorative Justice author) and Erica Lee!

The intention of this summer’s training is to cultivate a space where we can practice being, learning, and growing in restorative community together, so that we can bring that experience into our wider experiences and lives. We invite participants into an immersive community experience that fosters authenticity, connection, and play. We will explore and dream together about the large-scale transformation we are already creating as we live out these values in small-scale ways.

Please spread the word with anyone you think may be interested –  we ask that training participants have a foundational understanding of restorative justice and restorative practices. Registration deadline is May 22, 2026.
